Going to Newcastle away is epic. St James’ Park towers over the city like a castle, and the away end is stuck so high up you practically need oxygen just to celebrate a goal. The atmosphere is ferocious, but that only makes it sweeter when the Albion spoil their party Wey aye, man!

By the time you climb to the away end at Newcastle you’ve basically done a half-marathon and a Duke of Edinburgh award.
Sitting up there makes you realise you’re closer to booking a Ryanair flight than actually watching the match.
