PRIZE DRAW TERMS

We run a free prize draw on every home fixture. The prize is two seats in the 1901 Club for that match. These are the rules. The short version is at the top; the full version is underneath, and the full version is the one that counts.

The rules in full

1. The promoter is Up The Albion Travel, [POSTAL ADDRESS], Brighton ("we", "us"). Questions about a draw go to bookings@upthealbiontravel.com.
2. Who can enter. Anyone aged 18 or over on the closing date who is resident in the United Kingdom. Anyone who works for us, and their immediate families and households, cannot enter.
3. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. You do not need to book a seat on one of our minibuses, spend anything, or have spent anything. Booking travel with us does not improve your chance of winning and does not enter you in the draw.
4. How to enter. There are two routes and they both feed the same pool:
   • On the website. Where the draw says so, first like the match report it names and leave a comment on it. Both are free. Then fill in the draw form with your name and email address and tick both boxes. The form stays locked until both are done, and tells you which is outstanding.
   • On Facebook. Leave a comment on the draw post on our Facebook Page. After the draw closes we collect the commenters' display names and Facebook user ids and enter them. We do not copy what you wrote.
   You are never asked to share a post, repost it, or tag anyone, and doing any of those things will not enter you or improve your chances.
5. The like and comment condition, and its one limitation. Where a draw requires a like and a comment, we recognise them by an anonymous code derived from the device and connection you used, because entering needs no account and we hold no login for you. This means all three steps have to happen on the same device. If you like the report on your phone and then try to enter on a computer, the form will not recognise you and will ask you to like and comment again on that computer. That is a limitation of entering anonymously rather than a rejection of your entry, and doing it again on the one device is all that is needed. If it will not let you in and you believe it should, email us and we will sort it out.
6. Comments do not have to be approved for you to enter. Comments on this website are read before they are published. A comment still waiting to be read counts for entry, so you are never kept out of a draw because we had not got round to the moderation queue. A comment we have removed for being abusive or otherwise against the house rules does not count.
7. The conditions do not change once a draw is open. What you have to do to enter is fixed at the moment the first person enters, in the same way the prize and the closing time are. If it ever has to change, that draw is voided with the reason recorded and a fresh one is opened.
8. One entry per person, per route. A second entry through the same route is ignored rather than counted twice. If you enter on the website and also comment on Facebook you will have two entries, which is allowed, and is the most anyone can have. We may reject entries that appear to come from the same person under different names or addresses.
9. Facebook entries we cannot read. Facebook does not always give us the name and user id behind a comment. Where it does not, we cannot enter that comment and it will not be counted. This is a limit of Facebook's own system and not a decision of ours. If you want to be certain you are in the draw, use the form on the website.
10. Opening and closing. Each draw opens when it is announced on this website and on our Facebook Page, and closes five days before kick-off of the fixture it relates to. The exact closing date and time is shown on the entry form and in the Facebook post for that draw. Entries received after the closing time are not counted.
11. The prize is two seats in the 1901 Club at the Amex Stadium for the fixture named in that draw, provided subject to Brighton & Hove Albion's own ticket terms and the ground regulations, which the winner and their guest must accept. There is one prize per draw.
12. What is not included. Everything not described above: travel to and from the stadium, parking, accommodation, and anything bought on the day. If the winner wants a seat on one of our minibuses to the game they are welcome to book one at the usual price, and that is a separate arrangement from the prize.
13. No cash alternative. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash or for anything else, and cannot be transferred or sold to another person. The winner may bring one guest, who must also meet the club's conditions for entry to the 1901 Club.
14. How the winner is picked. After the draw closes, one entry is picked at random by computer from all valid entries received through both routes. Every valid entry has the same chance. The number of entries the winner was picked from is recorded at the moment of the draw and we will tell you what it was if you ask.
15. Telling the winner. We contact the winner within 48 hours of the draw: by email if they entered on the website, or by replying to their comment and messaging them on Facebook if they entered there. We will never ask you for a payment, a bank detail or a password, and any message that does is not from us.
16. Claiming the prize. The winner has 48 hours from the time we first contact them to reply and confirm they want the prize and can attend. That window is short because the seats have to be transferred through the club's own system before the match, and there is no way to do that at the last minute.
17. If the winner does not reply in time, their entry is voided, the reason is recorded, and a fresh winner is drawn at random from the remaining valid entries. We will do that as many times as the time before kick-off allows. If nobody claims the prize before the club's transfer deadline, the prize is not awarded.
18. If the fixture moves or is cancelled. Fixtures move for television and cup competitions. If the match is rearranged, the prize moves with it and the winner is told the new date. If the match is cancelled outright, or the seats become unavailable for a reason outside our control, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, which will normally be two 1901 Club seats for another home fixture that season.
19. Your details. We use what you give us to run the draw and to reach you if you win, and for nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not add you to a mailing list. What we hold, for how long, and how to have it deleted is set out in our privacy notice. Asking us to delete your details before the draw is made takes your entry out of it.
20. The winner's name. We do not publish the winner's name or contact details. If we are asked to show that a prize was really awarded, we may have to provide evidence of it to the Advertising Standards Authority, and by entering you agree to us doing so.
21. Decisions. Our decision on any aspect of a draw is final, and we do not enter into correspondence about it. We may disqualify an entry that breaks these rules or that is made in a way designed to get around them.
22. Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
23. Facebook. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta. By entering through Facebook you release Meta completely, and you understand that you are giving your information to us and not to Meta.

First trip half price

A separate offer from the prize draw, with nothing to do with it.

1. The offer. Your first booking with us is half the seat price shown on the fixture. Every seat on that booking is half price.
2. Who gets it. Anyone who has not had a booking confirmed with us before. We check by email address and phone number, so booking again under a different address is not a first trip.
3. Which trips. Any fixture on our 2026/27 list, up to and including the last game on 30 May 2027. It does not apply to the home season pass, private group hire, or anything booked under Other on the booking form.
4. How it is applied. Automatically, when we confirm your booking. There is no code to enter, and the half price is shown on your invoice.
5. Once per person. Bookings after your first are at the normal price. If your first booking is cancelled before you travel, the offer carries over to your next one.
6. The normal price is the price shown on each fixture, and it is what everyone who has travelled with us before pays.
7. No cash alternative. The offer cannot be exchanged for money, moved to a later booking you have already made, or passed to someone else.
